The Greatest eSports Players

The Greatest eSports Players

eSports do not have a long story as the other traditional sports have. However, a considerable number of eSports players have managed to make a name for themselves in this short period. Nowadays, eSports players are looked up to. They set precedence for new gamers who want the fame, money, and career these guys have. In this article, we will list some of the greatest eSports players, praise their achievements and accomplishments, and summarize their career. We, ACC-EX, are well aware of the rise of eSports and put  great importance on providing our customers with original betting accounts that offer eSports.

N0TAIL: Having started his professional gaming career in Heroes of Newerth, Johan “N0tail” Sundstein became who he is at the moment when he began playing Dota 2. He is mostly known of being a great team player. It is safe to say that the Dota 2 community adores him mostly because of his great personality. Nevertheless, it would be fatally wrong if we skipped his achievements and accomplishments.

Famous Dota 2 player NOtail

N0tail began his Dota 2 career in Fnatic, where he couldn’t win any major tournament. Later on, he went on to play for OG and absolutely dominated the scene. 2015 and 2016 were dreamlike for N0tail and his team. The team managed to win 4 out of 5 Valve Majors. What made him a legend though was winning back-to-back TIs two years later. Thanks to his accomplishments, he became the world’s highest earning eSports player ever. Believe it or not, he earned $6.8 million at the age of 27.

GeT_RiGhT: Counter-Strike is one of the oldest franchises in eSports history. It has a 20-year-old history and there is no question that there have been thousands of mechanically skilled players who won plentiful MVP awards and titles. GeT_RiGhT is one of them and he definitely deserves to be mentioned among the most influential eSports players.

GeT_RiGhT started his professional career in 2007. He quickly managed to get recognized thanks to his incredible plays in the big stages. He was considered by many to be the superstar of CS:GO between the years of 2012 and 2014. In this period, he won ten MVP awards, which is just incredible. Although he hasn’t won any major tournaments recently, his legacy carries him forward and no one expects him to retire soon.

Ninja: Among the players who found a place in this list, Ninja is arguably the most famous one. Even those who do not know what eSports mean might have heard of Ninja. The guy even appeared on the Ellen Degeneres Show. Oh, he also had a guest named Drake on his Twitch stream.

It is claimed that Ninja makes $560,000 each month solely from streaming not to mention that he has plenty of advertisement deals. Currently, he is not a professional eSports player but he used to play for famous teams such as Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, and Team Liquid.

Flash: Flash may not be very well known outside of the Republic of Korea but undoubtedly he is one of the most skilled eSports players ever. The main reason why he is not famous as the other guys in this list is that he plays only StarCraft, a less popular game compared to giants like League of Legends and CS: GO.

In his career, Flash won an incredible amount of titles and personal awards. In terms of qualification, he is the most successful professional eSports player ever. He also has the highest Elo rating record in StarCraft. He is easily the greatest StarCraft player ever but he is a close-second in this list unfortunately. We believe that you are already guessing who took the first spot.

Faker: Yes, you guessed it right. Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok can be easily considered to be the greatest eSports player ever. Some say he is the Michael Jordan of eSports and it is a fair comparison. Being 9 times LCK champion, 3 times World champion, and 2 times MSI champion, he is definitely the most successful League of Legends player ever.

Faker only played for T1, formerly known as SK Telecom T1, and has been on the big stage since 2013. He is mostly known for his aggressive playstyle and likes to play assassins in the mid-lane. Being the first player to reach 1000 kills in 2016 and 2000 kills in 2020 in LCK history, he is a record-breaker, so to speak. His understanding of the game and deep champion pool is unprecedented. Last but not least, he recently became the champion of LCK with his team once again. He is only 23 years old and he has a long career ahead of him.

We have listed the greatest eSports player in history. Of course, there are numerous honorable mentions but we believe that no one can disagree with what these guys have achieved in their career so far.
