Round 4 of 2019-2020 Champions League – overview, results and highlights

Last November 5th and 6th 2019, the fourth round of the Champions League ongoing edition took place and we will check the highlights of the different matches. First, remember that you can bet on all Champions League and more football matches if you register for original betting accounts at ACC-EX, the best betting services for European bookmakers.

Let’s see the results for the first half of the round played on Nov 5:

  • Barcelona 0 – 0 Slavia Prague
  • Zenit 0 – 2 RB Leipzig
  • Liverpool 2 – 1 Genk
  • Napoli 1 – 1 Salzburg
  • Valencia 4 – 1 Lille
  • Lyon 3 – 1 Benfica
  • Chelsea 4 – 4 Ajax
  • Dortmund 3 – 2 Inter

As you can see, Barcelona didn’t manage to pass from the draw at home and it seems the Spaniards may be having a hard time lately, they came to lose on LaLiga against Levante last Saturday. Meanwhile, there was quite a goal fest on Stamford Bridge where Chelsea drew with Ajax by 4-4 in a match filled with controversy – penalty kicks, own goals and red cards marked this clash. Valencia crushed Lille and Lyon did the same with Benfica; while Dortmund came from behind in front of Inter.

For the second half, these are the results:

  • Bayern 2 – 0 Olympiacos
  • Lokomotiv Moscow 1 – 2 Juventus
  • Red Star 0 – 4 Tottenham
  • Leverkusen 2 – 1 Atlético Madrid
  • PSG 1 – 0 Club Brugge
  • Atalanta 1 – 1 Manchester City
  • Dinamo Zagreb 3 – 3 Shakhtar
  • Real Madrid 6 – 0 Galatasaray

The biggest surprise for this second half was the defeat of Atlético Madrid in the hands of Leverkusen, while Tottenham crushed Red Star by 0-4 as away team. Real Madrid did an impressive match against Galatasaray and what’s worth to mention here is the hat-trick by Rodrygo, who became the second-youngest player to score a hat-trick at the age of 18.

Next round of 2019 Champions League will be held between November 26th and 27th, 2019. You can bet on these matches on the best European bookmakers via betting services at ACC-EX.
